Repsol Foundation and Santa María la Real Foundation promote the employability of vulnerable young people through training
Madrid, December 5, 2024 – Repsol Foundation and Santa María la Real Foundation have launched an innovative training program in cross-cutting and digital competencies aimed at young workers of the Spanish company Hispaled's job placement project, dedicated to the LED lighting sector.
This project aims to improve work performance and increase the employment opportunities of participants.
The program, carried out in October, included four group sessions and four individual sessions, focusing on essential skills such as effective communication, teamwork, problem solving, and time management. These competencies are fundamental in the current work environment and can make a significant difference in young people's professional careers.
Moreover, those participants with linguistic support needs in Spanish were identified, who received additional support to improve their social and labor market integration.
In total, 20 young people were trained, accumulating 100 hours of training. With this initiative, Repsol Foundation continues to support the employability of vulnerable groups.
