Social projects proposals - 2019 call for funding
Fundación Repsol, in collaboration with Repsol and Petronor’s industrial facilities, is once again launching a call for proposals, offering funding of up to 93 000 euros to social projects. The application period for projects in A Coruña, Cartagena (Murcia), Bilbao (Vizcaya), Puertollano (Ciudad Real), and Tarragona is already open and will run until 15st October.
The priority lines of action are the support and protection of persons in vulnerable situations, as well as initiatives that help improve the quality of life and independence of people with disabilities.
Organisations requesting funding must be legally registered as not-for-profit organizations and must also fulfil the other requirements stated in the terms and conditions of each call for proposals (see below).
A multidisciplinary panel of judges will choose the winning projects, based on the following criteria:
- Technical and economic feasibility.
- Social impact of the project and to what extent it meets the needs of the intended beneficiaries.
- Innovation.
- Visibility and multiplier effect.
- Number of direct and indirect beneficiaries, as well as the characteristics and members of the target group.
In each location where the programme is taking place, the projects that opt for the funding programme will receive up to 15 000 euros to share amongst all of those selected. As exceptions, Puertollano will receive 30 000 euros and A Coruña 18 000 euros.
This funding programme demonstrates Repsol and Fundación Repsol’s commitment to responsible citizenship, contributing to various projects and initiatives that improve social well-being and quality of life, as well as social, educational, environmental, and cultural development.
